Keith Cooper was born on 29th September 1961. He went to Hertfodshire College of Art from 1980 to 1981 for his foundation course and was tought by Roger Leaworthy.
He received a BA:Hons Fine Art (painting) 2:1 at Chelsea School of Art where he worked exclusively in the life room from 1981 to 1984 and was taught by Euan Uglow, Norman Norris, Patrick Symonds and Craigie Aitchison.

The paintings are framed with a classic and traditonnal genuine gold frame, water gilded with 233/4 carat gold leaves.
